Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Trakio handles personal data for its S2S attribution service, website, accounts, and security operations.

1. Who this notice covers

Trakio is a business attribution platform operated by the Trakio entity identified in your Order Form or service agreement. For account, contracting, security, and support data, that entity acts as the data controller or Data Fiduciary. For click and conversion data submitted by an advertiser, Trakio generally acts as its processor or Data Processor.

2. Data we process

We process account identity and contact details, workspace membership, authentication and audit records, support communications, tracking-link requests, IP address and user-agent data, Trakio Click IDs, approved external identifiers, campaign parameters, advertiser-reported events, conversion status, revenue and payout values, postback delivery records, and technical logs. Version 1 does not use a Trakio mobile SDK and does not independently collect device advertising identifiers or app sessions.

3. Why and on what basis

We use data to provide attribution and reporting, secure accounts, prevent fraud and duplicate events, deliver postbacks and exports, support customers, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims. The applicable basis may be contract, legitimate interests, consent obtained by the advertiser, or a legal obligation. Advertisers are responsible for their notices, consent, and lawful collection of data sent to Trakio.

4. Sharing and international processing

Data is available only to authorised workspace members and vetted service providers needed to run Trakio. Current provider categories and locations are published on the Subprocessors page. Cross-border processing uses contractual and other safeguards required by applicable law.

5. Retention and security

Retention periods are published on the Data Retention page. We use access controls, tenant isolation, encryption in transit, encrypted backups, hashed or encrypted identifiers where appropriate, audit trails, and monitored infrastructure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or objection, and may complain to the relevant authority. For campaign data, contact the advertiser first because it normally controls that data. You may also contact privacy@trakio.in. We may verify identity and route processor-held requests to the relevant advertiser.

7. Children and changes

Trakio is a business service and is not directed to children. Customers must not send children’s data without a valid legal basis and required parental authorisation. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where required, notified to customers.
